Privacy Policy.

Effective date: September 23, 2026

This policy explains how Momentum Consulting handles personal information collected through momentumconsulting.mx (the “Site”). The short version: we collect what you send us to answer your inquiry, we measure site usage with Google Analytics only if you opt in, and we do not sell or share your personal information or use it for advertising.

1. Who we are

Momentum Consulting is a software engineering firm based in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, and is the controller of the personal information described here. We are subject to Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP, 2025). Contact: info@momentumconsulting.mx or +52 81 2007 6491.

2. Information we collect

  • Information you give us through the contact form, email, or WhatsApp: your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, company, and whatever you include in your message.
  • Usage information collected automatically: pages visited, date and time, referring page, browser and device type, operating system, and approximate location (country or city, derived from your IP address). See Cookies and analytics.

We do not ask for sensitive information (such as health, financial, or government ID data) through the Site. Please don't include it in your messages.

3. How we use it

  • To reply to your inquiry and follow up on it by email, phone, or WhatsApp.
  • To prepare proposals and deliver services you engage us for.
  • To comply with legal obligations.
  • Optionally, to send you occasional information about our services. You can opt out at any time by replying to any such email or writing to info@momentumconsulting.mx; this doesn't affect your original request.
  • To understand how the Site is used and improve it, using analytics you have agreed to.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use service providers that process data only on our behalf and under our instructions:

  • Vercel Inc. (United States) — website hosting and aggregate, cookieless visit statistics.
  • Resend (United States) — delivery of contact-form messages to our inbox.
  • Microsoft (United States) — our email service.
  • Google LLC (United States) — Google Analytics, only if you opt in.

We may also disclose information when required by law or by a competent authority.

5. Cookies and analytics

  • Google Analytics loads only after you click “Accept” in the cookie notice. Until then, no request is made to Google. Once accepted, it sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies (up to 2 years) to distinguish visits. Google Signals and advertising features are turned off.
  • Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights count visits and measure performance in aggregate. They set no cookies and don't recognize you across visits.
  • Your cookie choice is stored in your browser's local storage (mc-consent) for 12 months.

You can change or withdraw your choice anytime with “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page, or here: . Withdrawing deletes the Google Analytics cookies. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Site works normally without them.

6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track (DNT) signal, we treat it as a rejection of analytics cookies: Google Analytics doesn't load and the cookie notice isn't shown, unless you later choose to accept in cookie settings. No third party is allowed to collect personal information about your activity across other websites through our Site.

7. Retention and security

We keep inquiries that don't become a business relationship for up to 24 months after our last contact, and client information for the duration of the relationship plus the periods required by tax and other laws. Analytics data is kept for 14 months. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access.

8. Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, object to its use for a specific purpose, or withdraw consent you gave us. Email info@momentumconsulting.mx with your name, a way to reply to you, the request you are making, and the information it concerns. We may ask you to verify your identity.

We will respond within 20 days and carry out an approved request within 15 days after responding (extendable once for an equal period when justified), as required by Mexican law. Requests are free. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact Mexico's data protection authority, the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno.

9. International transfers

We are based in Mexico and our service providers are mainly in the United States, so your information may be processed in both countries. Google and Vercel participate in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

10. Children

The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the law or in our services. The current version is always published on this page with its effective date.
